Dyfed Hereford Breeders AGM 2018

This years AGM was later than usual and saw us all travel to Gower. It was quite a journey from the M4, and im sure most of us thought we were lost but it was well worth it as we were rewarded with tea and cakes at Liz and Tom Roderick farm and café. There was a really good turnout of members, which filled the café. The AGM was held at the café.

With a break in the rain we headed out to see The Brangwyn herd. They were a pleasure to see with some very strong deep cows. We also saw the new stock bull who was a recent purchase. Im sure he will leave some really nice calves with rich dark coats.

It was off to the Monksland Pub for a carvery and raffle before heading to see the Kilvrough herd. The Radcliffe family along with Russell and his family gave us a warm welcome. Russell took us to see some very nice cows and calves and then we saw some lovely young bulls in the shed. We finished by seeing the Mrs Radcliffes latest purchase Dendor Ruby who will soon be receiving a very prestigious award. We finished the day with some lovely refreshments laid on by the Radcliffe family.

A big thank you to Liz and Tom Roderick, The Radcliffe family and Russel and his family for allowing us to visit your farms.
